Set on 3 floors, this is a modern interactive way to delve into the past. Video walls and a headphone commentary in a choice of languages help to keep you informed but everything is set out in a spacious way.

MUMMIES AND MUCH MORE
The Guanche mummies are a star turn here, but the rocks, fossils and plants are also visually impressive. Regular large themed exhibitions constantly change to add make return visits popular.

Calle Fuente Morales is a short walk from the Santa Cruz bus station or Plaza de España. Open from 9am to 7pm, Tuesday to Sunday, closed Monday, entrance is 3 euros for adults and 1.50 euros for children. Pay with a Bono bus ticket and get a 50% discount.
