Tenerife Symphony Orchestra – 75th Anniversary Concerts
Two extraordinary concerts to mark the milestone 75 years of the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. The TSO likes to take its music out to different venues and this concert is a short trip from their usual Santa Cruz Auditorium base. Teatro Guimera has recently been refurbished is a fitting historic venue for this concert. Starts at 8.30 pm on 28th and 29th October. “Song Of The North Lake” a musical tale for all the family with Eduardo Garcia Rodriguez conducting the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and Moises Evora telling the stories.
The music of Edward Grieg from Norway backs the story of Peer Gynt from Ibsen, and Sibelius offers another view from Finland.
Tickets are just 4 euros, a great chance to introduce the young generation to music and folklore.
