Santa Cruz Summer Camp – 5 to 14 year olds

Picasso and African Sculpture at TEA

A rare chance to see what inspired Picasso to embrace cubism in his work. The Ladies of Avignon, his 1907 painting is widely regarded as his first use of geometric forms and planes, and was inspired by African masks.
Thanks to the Picasso Foundation in Malaga, 30 pieces of African sculpture will be on display at Tenerife Espacio de Las Artes in Avenida San Sebastian, Santa Cruz until 22 August. TEA is open daily, apart from Mondays,from 10am to 8pm.

Pedro Guerra , 25 April in concert at Santa Cruz Auditorium

The Guimar born singer song writer takes to the stage at the Sala Sinfonica in the Santa Cruz Auditorium. Pedro aided by his trusty guitar, will be performing his two latest songs Alma Mia (My Soul) and Contigo en la Distancia (With Me in the Distance).
Tango, Bolero, Latin and Spanish themes are all explored by Pedro, who has been influenced by music from Argentina, Cuba and Mexico.
