Must be TEA time again soon.

It’s nice to see such a wide range of events passing through Tenerife Espacio de Artes (TEA) in Santa Cruz. I’ve been there 3 times and really enjoyed it, I’m no art expert but some of the paintings are magnificent. There is a fine collection of work by Oscar Dominguez, Tenerife’s most famous artist, good to see him recognised properly in the land of his birth.

The building itself is worth seeing, a very bold and interesting design, the library is a wonderful place to take a break and catch up with local papers and magazines, when the sun shines down through the elegant glass light fittings, it adds a magical quality to the building.
I’ve yet to see any of the classic films shown at TEA, so that will be one of my next reasons for popping in.
