Amazing Grace – TEA Film, 2,3 & 4 April
The powerful story of MP William Wilberforce and his fight to abolish slavery. This 2006 film, directed by Michael Apted, picked up a clutch of awards and features Michael Gambon and Albert Finney. The title refers to John Newton, composer of the hymm Amazing Grace, a big influence on the life of Wilberforce.
TEA cinema is showing the film in the original English, with Spanish sub titles. Shows are at 7pm and 9.30pm, entry is 4 euros.
