Aphrodisiac Tapas Route, November 1 to 15, Win A Wine Weekend

Perk up your taste buds with 2nd edition of this north Tenerife based Ruta de Tapas. Restaurants and bars in Tequeste, Tacoronte, La Orotava, La Laguna, and El Sauzal are presenting special tapas dishes which can be enjoyed with a drink for just 2.50 euros from Ist to 15 November during selected hours.

Not only can you enjoy all these new arousing tastes but by getting your entry card stamped along the way you could win a prize. The first 10 to contact the tapas office with 5 stamps for different eateries, will win a meal for 2, the first 3 to collect 15 stamps will win a trip for 2 to a local bodega including food and drink as partm of a special weekend including 2 nights in a hotel or rural house on the Ruta del Vino.

Food, Hotel & Catering Fair – 19-22 April

ExpoHostel 2010 brings the best new trends and stands for those interested in the food, hotel and catering trade. Last years event attracted 10,538 leading professionals. Also featured this year is the Canarian Chefs Competition with 10 professionals from across the seven islands competing for money prizes and great honour.
It all takes place at the Recinto Ferial at the entrance to Santa Cruz (just left before the Auditorium) and opens each day from 10am to 8pm.
