The best of white and red will be on show, you can buy a tasting ticket for 5 euros and then sample several wines before you decide which wine to buy to enjoy at home.

A Tour Through North Tenerife’s Farming Community – Book Now

Take a day to sample a flavour of the farming community in Tenerife with a mix of transport and walking. The route will take you from Santa Cruz through La Laguna, the village of San Juan de La Rambla, La Guancha, and a bracing walk from Lomo de La Avena in Icod to Pinolere.
The trip includes lunch and the museum tour at Pinolere and all the transport. It all starts at Santa Cruz bus station at 9 am, followed by a pick up at Plaza del Adelantado, La Laguna at 9.15 am and finishes back at Santa Cruz at around 6 pm. Prices are 25 euros for members of Club Tenerife Rural or 30 euros for non members and is open to children over 10 years old as well as adults.

Alicia Lucas Exhibition De Natura

The 36 year old artist from Palencia in North West Spain has lived in Tenerife since 1994 and studied at Belles Artes studio in La Laguna University. Now driven by her passion for nature she has produced this new exhibition De Natura featuring photographice images of hidden beauty in Tenerife, Senegal and Palencia. This cover photo was taken at Punta del Hidalgo in Tenerife.
The exhibition takes place at the Cabildo Libreria at Avenida Islas Canarias No 4 in Santa Cruz until 19 July. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm.
World Windsurfing Championships, El Medano

It’s been 15 years since this contest came to Tenerife but from 14 to 20 July the best male and female sailors of the Professional Windsurf Association will be dazzling everyone at El Cabezo beach in El Medano.
There are several disciplines in this round of the World tour but in the womens competition look out for the amazing Moreno twins from Gran Canaria. Daida Ruano Moreno is the current world champion and sister Iballa Ruano Moreno is number two, expect that family rivalry to push them to the limits over the course of this competition.
July is the best time to catch the strongest winds in El Medano and there is no charge to watch so treat yourself to a day or more watching these outstanding sports stars.
Painting Competition At Parque Garcia Sanabria

Dig out your brushes and get painting, Parque Garcia Sanabria in Santa Cruz is hosting a painting competition over the month of July. The Sala de Arte is in this large and very beautiful park just a short stroll from Plaza Weyler or Plaza de España, an inspiring setting.
From 4 to 6 July paintings will be collected at the art hall from 10 am to 1 pm and then on 8 July the chosen finalists will be presented at 8.30 pm. The public will get the chance to vote on their favourite paintings from 9 to 28 July and prizes will be awarded on 29 July at 8.30 pm.

The romantic comedy that has taken Spain by storm arrives in Tenerife with 3 hours of action, 40 actors, dancers and musicians and plenty of shows to choose from.
