Construction, Equipment, And House Sales Fair, 18-21 November

Now in it’s 7th year and this time with FREE entry for the public, the Construction Fair brings together 60 companies involved in building and all aspects of sales and equipment. The Recinto Ferial building is the perfect venue situated on the road into Santa Cruz and offering 8,000 square metres of display space.

There is parking on site for 500 cars and the Recinto Ferial has a cafe bar to relax in during the event. From November 18 to 21 the fair will be open from 11 am to 9 pm.

Tri Continental Fair, Puerto de la Cruz, 29 October to 1 November

Africa, South America and Tenerife come together for this third edition of the Tri Continental Fair. Some 200 artesans from these diverse origins will show off the finest in food, crafts and music. In the evenings there will be music with different tongues and rythms.

The stalls will be set up along the port esplanade in 11 rows featuring 60 metres each of tempting offerings all with a genuine flavour of other cultures. Each year this event grows in stature and support, come along and have fun.

Kids Night Camps At The Museum – From 22 October

Following the success of similar events at the Museum of Science and the Cosmos, the Museum of Nature and Man (Museo de La Naturaleza Y el Hombre) is introducing monthly Friday night sleep over camps in the Santa Cruz museum. The first is on Friday 22 October from 6pm and is for children between 6 and 14 years.

The group of 20 to 30 children will be well supervised as they enjoy the sounds, food and legends of prehistory in Tenerife. It’s a unique experience and a chance for young minds to learn a little about local history. Sleeping bags are provided for the young visitors and the exhibits all add to the atmosphere.

International jazz singer born on Long Island, New York. Also an acomplished piano and clarinet player. The 32 year old has worked with big stars like Michael Buble and has Grammy awards for two of her albums. Starts at 9pm, tickets 18 euros from the Auditorium box office or on 902317327.
